2. Who Built a Minecraft Game?
Minecraft was developed by Markus Persson and Jens Bergensten. Persson was born in Stockholm, Sweden on 1st June 1979. He was born to Finnish mother and Swedish Father. He spent his early life in Edsbyn.
At the age of seven he began programming on his father’s Commodore 128. At the age of eight he made his first text-based adventure game.
He worked as game developer for King for almost four years and then worked as programmer for Jalbum. He is a central figure for Minecraft: The Story of Mojang.
Bergensten was born on 18th May 1979 in Orebo Sweden. At the age of 11, he started programming in BASIC and Turbo Pascal.

At the age of 21, he was a modder and mapper for the game Quake III arena which was a first-person shooter game. He worked as C++ and Java Programmer for Korkeken Interactive Studio.
In 2010, he was hired as backend developer for Scrolls which is known as Caller’s Bane. He started programming for Minecraft and soon became lead designer.
