Dil Bechara’s last movie of Sushant Singh Rajput was a crucial cinema in Hindi Film History, marking the elevation of the hugely critical question of Nepotism after the sad demise of the lead Sushant Singh Rajput.

The movie was by far noted as a sign of justice for Sushant and strangled the cabinets of the mega Flag bearers of Nepotism – Karan Johar, Salman Khan and others. This Movie was Released on the OTT Platform.

Debut Director Mukesh Chhabra, dwells into a world through the frames that show us the smiles and the tears rolling down, binding the utmost love and calling out for pain and anguish.

Inspired by the novel- “The Fault In Our Stars” by John Green, it creates a surreal world of hardships at every passing lane, the feeling to live through the moment with an utmost smile on our face, and the feeling to never give up the love is simply the most beautifully crafted yet poignant moments of the film.

The Director with his promising act in the industry for several years and the one who gave the stage to Sushant to lift that stake high in his debut cinema “Kai Po Che”, cast him for the role with utmost generosity been a friend and a mentor but destiny demolished the layers of hope with pain in the nations heart that crave for Justice.

Dil Bechara portrays the layers of sanity through the hearts of Kizie (Sanjana Sanghvi) and Manny (Sushant Singh Rajput), living each moment with the hope to witness the next morning with the ray of light over their face.

To evoke hope, surviving the grim of Cancer, they develop an ecstatic meaning to life symbolically in the closet of their heart pushing the boundary of death far away.

It beautifully crafts the lanes of Jamshedpur, the moments of glee that surround the characters with the colour of wide retrospective emotions playing a soothing part in the movie throughout its running time.

It is inspired by Author John Greens’ book, picturing the roads and the journey of the character in a subtly beautiful rhythm. The acting and the moments of paving emotions were the most surreal part of Dil Bechara.

Each supporting actor starring Swastika Mukherjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Sahil Vaid and Saif Ali Khan, gave a push with their respective roles, holding the chords of emotion strong yet evoking the natural sense of rawness into the frames, it followed a rhythm that was the most aesthetic point of the entire movie.

The BGM of the movie penned down by the hands of the Legend himself A. R. Rahman was a sensual factor, it was real, evoking emotions yet blending the tone of the movie slow, yet rhythmic with nostalgia into the screen.

Mukesh Chhabra with his debut film pictured the world that was penned down by the director Josh Boone in “The Fault in Our Stars”, every frame, the subtext, the momentum and the pitch, the epitome of the characters and the music been highlighted with the same pitch and tone.

With the context of the screenplay being blatantly adapted, Chhabra played safely in his debut showcasing the same world of varied layers of emotions, the world of the character was different, it was aesthetically what the Bollywood audience will crave.

The movie was supposedly an art house cinema but Bollywood with its flavour and tone evoked the unearthly side and showcased a cliché surrounding it with Actors Singing songs.

Cancer patients trying to make a Bhojpuri film as a memory of their friend JP (Sahil Vaid), Screaming inside a Church as though it was someone’s funeral, it was the unrealistic situation that was yet again adapted by Bollywood just for garnishing its bed with layers of Box Office Rewards.

Dil Bechara from its structure wasn’t a cinema that should have flourished with the aura of novelty and respect, it was an adaptation or rather it was a frame-by-frame undertaking by Mukesh Chhabra without his gestures of visual interpretation.

It’s the life of a broken-down character that the director penned down, it’s brings tears to witness Sushant smiling onto the screen for the very last time and bidding us goodbye with the word- “SERI.”

We can just hold back ourselves and pray for the justice that Sushant deserves, CBI enquiry to get the truth in front of everyone, Dil Bechara is just not any movie now, it’s an emotion for millions of Indians. He will get justice and pride onto his dead bed then we all will end up saying “SERI.”
