Who is Narendra Damodardas Modi

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India Was born on 17th September 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. He was born into a lower-middle-class family.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sworn in as the 14th prime minister of India. In the year 2014, he was sworn in as prime minister of India. He was chief minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.

Narendra Modi is also a Member of Parliament for Varanasi, UP. He is the first elected prime minister of India outside of the Indian National Congress to elect two consecutive terms with a full majority.

Early Life of Narendra Damodardas Modi

Born in a Gujarati family, in his early days Narendra Modi sold tea as a child with his father later he ran his tea stall. There Narendra Modi was introduced to RSS at the age of eight.

Narendra Modi got married to Jashodaben Chimanlal Modi but after some time he left home and travelled across the country. Narendra Modi travelled for two years throughout the entire country and visited many religious places. Then he returns to Gujrat.

In 1971 he became a full-time RSS worker. He was forced to hide during an emergency imposed in 1975. In 1985 he was assigned to the BJP later he managed to become a general secretary in 2001.
