How To Register for COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Online
A. IF you plan to get COVID-19 vaccine registration online Covid vaccine then you can follow the below steps to register through the Cowin website.
1. Visit the CoWIN website and click on Register/Sign.
2. Enter your mobile number and click to get the OTP. Once you receive the OTP enter the same and click “Verify”
3. Enter all your details such as name, gender, year of birth, and photo ID proof on “Registration for Vaccination.” Once you fill out the details click on “Register.”
4. Once you complete registration, click on the option to schedule your appointment.
5. Once you enter your PIN code, click on the search button. The centres associated with the pin code will be shown.
6. Once you have the list of centres, select your suitable date and time. Post which you need to click on the “Confirm” button.
You can add up to four members of your family through one login and easily reschedule the appointment.
B. To register through the Aarogya Setu App, you need to follow the below steps.
1. Open the Aarogya Setu app. On the home screen, click on the CoWIN button.
2. Then click on ‘Vaccination Registration.’ Now enter your phone number and await OTP. Once you receive OTP, enter the same and click “Verify”
3. On the ‘Register for Vaccination’ page, enter your details such as name, gender, and year of birth including photo ID proof. Then click on ‘Register’.
4. After completing your registration, you need to schedule an appointment. Post which clicks on the next button for the name of the person to be registered.
5. Add your pin code then click on Search. The centres in the added pin code will appear.
6. Click on ‘Confirm’ once you have selected the date and time.
You need to provide the same photo ID that you have used while registration which is verified for the vaccine. A photo ID is a mandatory document for registration as well as verification of the person for the session site.
It is just to ensure that the person intended is vaccinated.

Number Of Doses of COVID-19 Vaccines
The gap between doses of vaccine needs to be 28 days. Both doses need to be taken by an individual to complete the vaccination schedule. The antibodies to the tune of protection level are produced after two weeks of the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines.

COVID-19 Vaccination Post Registration
After you have completed your registration, an SMS will be sent to you on your registered mobile number with the details about the due date, place and time of vaccination.
You will receive an SMS on the registered mobile number after you have completed your vaccine. Once you have been administered all the doses, a QR code-based certificate is generated. The QR Code is sent to the registered mobile number.

The vaccine centres have been pinned on Google Maps. You can follow the following simple steps to locate the COVID-19 vaccine centres. Co-WIN 2.0 registration is GPS integrated.
It will display all the centres in the vicinity of the person using the mobile number. You can choose the nearest centre and suitable time slot for the vaccine.

Step 1: You can use the Google Maps feature to search for COVID-19 vaccination near me.
Step 2: Based on your location, the list of vaccine centres will be displayed. Click on the button “See location info”. Once you click on it your various information such as directions, contact number, operating hours and detailed address will be displayed.
Step 3: The location which you have used for vaccination can be shared with others. It can be done by clicking on the share icon provided in the top right corner.
Another method is that you can walk into the centre without registration. If the quota for the day is not over, then the centre can provide you vaccine or may ask you to come back the next day.
It has been indicated to the vaccination centres that 40% of doses need to be directed to the pre-registered recipients. The remaining 60% would be for walk-in people. However, this can change from centre to centre.

Cost Of COVID-19 Vaccination
Government hospitals are giving vaccines for free. Private hospitals are charging for vaccines. The charges would be a maximum of INR 250 for each dose. For two doses, that comes to Rs 500.
If you will have to face adverse conditions, then the charges incurred for admission and hospitalisation will be additional.

Documents Required for COVID-19 Vaccination
Any of the below-mentioned IDs with a Photo may be produced at the time of registration such as Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Health Insurance Smart Card issued under the scheme of the Ministry of Labour.
You can also use the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) Job Card.
Also, official identity cards issued to MPs/MLAs/MLCs, PAN cards, Passbooks issued by the Bank/Post Office, passports, and Pension Documents can be used as the identity.
You can also use a Service Identity Card with a photograph which is issued to employees by the Central/ State Govt./ PSUs/Public Limited Companies, Voter ID, Smart card issued by RGI under NPR.
