The base camp is at Udhewadi. You can explore forts such as Shrivardhan and Manaranjan with a wonderful view of a valley. The best site is Rajmachi Fort, a 17th-century structure by Shivaji Maharaj.

This lake is known for the human skeletal remains at the bottom of the lake. You can hear many legends and stories about these human skeletons.
