The eligibility criteria for Hotel Management are very basic. The minimum qualification required is 10+2. You can choose government government-recognised college or institute by giving a common entrance test held every April which has multiple-choice questions in English, Reasoning, General Science and General Knowledge.

This is a three-year undergraduate course in Hotel Management. You can opt for three different specialisations Tourism, Hospitality Management and Catering Science.
The major subjects you would have are front office, Food Science & Nutrition, housekeeping and laundry Operation, Food and Beverage Service and Fundamentals of Management.

2. Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology
This course is very similar to the Bachelor of Hotel Management, with a difference in the duration of the course. This course is for 4 years.
The additional year is dedicated to the study of Catering and Food Production. The subjects too are similar viz. Tourism, Hospitality Management and Catering Science.
The major subjects you would have are front office, Food Science & Nutrition, housekeeping and laundry Operation, Food and Beverage Service and Fundamentals of Management. We have listed three colleges for this course but you can find an exhaustive list on the internet.

3. Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel Management
This is a three-year course with a focus on the management and finance of hotels. The main subjects for this course are Hospitality Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Housekeeping Operations, Food Production, Human Resource Management, etc.
The main three colleges offering this course are the International School of Hospitality Management (ISHM), Kolkata, AIMS Education Campus, Anand and Jindal School of Hotel Management, Vadodara. You can find a list of other colleges on internet.

4. Bachelor of Arts in Hotel Management
This is again a three-year course with main subjects such as Fundamentals of Hospitality, Management, Facilities Management, Hotel Operations, Accommodation Management, etc. This course is offered by the Indian School of Business at Cochin and UEI Global.

5. Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts
This is a three-year course with main subjects such as Food & Beverage Operations, Management, Menu Planning, Food Production Management, Contemporary Gastronomy, Customer Service, etc.
This course is offered by the Indian School of Hospitality at Gurgaon, Welcome Group Graduate School of Hotel Administration and ITM Institute of Hotel Management at Mumbai.

6. Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management
This is a three-year course with three different specializations Food & Beverage Management, Food Production Management Accommodation Management, etc. The first three semesters are generic and the next three semesters are specializations.
