About Ramakrishna Paramahamsa

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was born in the year of 1836 on 18th of February. His full name is Gadadhar Chattopadhyay. He died in the year of 1886 on 16th of August around 9 to 9:30 PM.

He is well known as a religious leader and Hindu mystic. His father’s name is Khudiram Chattopadhyaya. His mother’s name is Chandramani Devi. He was the founder of Ramakrishna Order.

He was connected to various religious practices which includes Tantra, Bhakti yoga, Advaita Vedanta, Christianity, and Islam. His guru names were Bhairavi Brahmani, Totapuri and others.

He belongs to the Brahmin family. His family was economically poor. His wife’s name is Saradamoni Devi. Her wife is well known by the name of Holy mother. His wife died due to black fever.

Her wife had the greatest impact on his life; she supported him in the growth of the Ramakrishna movement. Her wife gave birth to two sons and one daughter. His first son’s name is Ramkumar who was born in the year of 1805.

Ramakishna Paramahamasa who is a well-known religious leader and a Hindu mystic was born in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. During his childhood he was not interested in studies. At his early life he began to demonstrate spiritual qualities.

He was married to Saradamoni Devi. He was married at the age of twenty-three (23) years. Her wife gave birth to two sons and one daughter. His first son’s name is Ramkumar who was born in the year of 1805.

His second name is Rameshwar which was born in the year of 1826. Her wife also gave birth to a girl child whose name is Katyayani who was born five years later of his first child.

Devotion life of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa

The popular or famous religious leader Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was utterly immersed in devotion all his life. While serving as the priest at Mother kali’s temple which is located or situated at Dakshineswar he became an ardent or passionate lover of devotion.

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda who was a mystic, philosopher and one of India’s well known greatest thinkers founded the Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Mission as a dedication to the religious leaders Ramakrishnan Paramahamsa.

The relationship between the well-known religious leader Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Swami Vivekananda began in the year of 1881 in the month of November. Both well-known persons met at the house of Surendra Nathan Mitra.

Vivekananda delivered his two lectures in two places well known as New York and England in the year of 1901 on Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

Death of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa

He died in the year of 1886 on 16th of August around 9 to 9:30 PM.

His body was taken to Ratanbabur Ghat which is a burning Ghat for cremation on the next day of his death. He died due to an ulcer in his throat. During the cremation of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa many people were present which included close relatives, monks, and devotees.

He died after one hundred thirty years of his birth, so it means he remained alive for one hundred thirty three years.
